We are Martin Hogg & Gillian Graham, welcome to our web site and our Siberian Husky kennel.  We are a small racing kennel with big aspirations based in Fife, Scotland.

We currently have 10 dogs, 8 working Siberian’s, Mylo the ‘cheer leader’ and team mascot Scooby.

Martin works in distribution and asset management. Gillian, a qualified Veterinary Nurse has owned Siberians since 1998 and Martin since 2000.  As is very common amongst Siberian owners we both got our original dogs as pets, originally being drawn to the breed by their striking appearance and gregarious nature.

Separately, Gillian and I both went to watch our first rallies at Devilla forest in Fife and remember being instantly hooked by the raw enthusiasm the dogs had for working in harness, one of those things you must personally experience to fully appreciate. 

That was our first real step into the world of owning sled dogs instead of pet Siberians and the rest is history.  'Thanks' must go to Gary and Sandra Hulme, Peter Duncan and Shane Murray for taking the time to get us started on the slippery slope of working dogs.

The ‘Snopheonix Siberian Husky’ Kennel was formed in 2004.  In October that year Martin started out in his first competitive racing season and won the SSHC 2 dog Championship in that debut season.

Since those formative days the kennel has gone from strength to strength along the way winning the SDAS 4 dog championship, SSHC 3 & 4 dogs championships and the 3 dog class at Aviemore.
